The last three practices that became infused into our life at home come under one umbrella: Learning to Be.
Because of our Acton journey, we learned how to do three things simultaneously:
#8. Be together.
#9. Be present.
#10. Be curious.
A family can be together and not be fully present. A family can be together and fully present but have no curiosity about each other. It is only in the melding of these three that life together moves from empty to full.
No matter how you define “family,” it is the human experience of being together and loving well that ultimately forges a life well lived. Very little else matters.
